Yacht Valeter

We require a self motivated person to work within our busy Boat Care department as a valeter.

Duties include:

• Polishing yachts and motorboats, both on the marina and the hard standing.
• Weekly exterior valets, interior valets, new boat preparation and general boat care duties.
• The role also involves keeping our newly refurbished washroom facilities clean and maintaining the ship yard work areas.
• Experience would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.
• The role requires enthusiasm, and lots of attention to detail.

Shipwright

Experience and attention to detail are essential for this role working on a variety of commercial and private vessels with the ability to work to manufacturers or client recommendations and drawings.

• Time served
• Proven track record in large yacht system refits and/or new construction
• Modern composites
• Traditional joinery skills
• Teak decks
• Interior fit out

Fully Skilled Yacht Rigger Required

• Experienced with traditional and modern rigs for yachts up to 80'
• Mast stepping, rig set-up, and mast-tuning
• Mast & rigging inspection
• Working aloft
• Boat handling
• Lifting and slinging a variety of equipment
• A keen eye for detail and proven yacht rigging track record

Spray Painter Leading Hand Wanted

• A hands-on roleleading our team of painters, sprayers & apprentices
• Yacht & motor boat spray painting with Awlgrip & other two pack paints
• Small components & repairs
• Varnishing & antifouling
• Record keeping

Organisational ability is essential for this role along with a high attention for detail and man management skills.

Marine Engineer

Experience and attention to detail are essential for this role working on a variety of commercial and private vessels with the ability to work to manufacturers or client recommendations and drawings.

• Time served
• Proven track record in large yacht system refits and/or new construction
• Fabricating and Tig welding in Aluminium and S/S
• Engine servicing and installations
• Fuel Systems
• Pipefitting
