Sailing from Lymington
Lymington is a great sailing centre that is close to the Western Solent and a great departure point for the English Channel and beyond. It is also convenient for Solent cruising to Cowes (and for Cowes Week), the Hamble and Poole.
The Georgian town is steeped in nautical history and today is an acknowledged centre for yacht refit and repair, with a wealth of local knowledge close at hand, not least our own yard facility with 70 skilled craftsmen on the shop floor.
Lymington's two yacht clubs, the Royal Lymington Yacht Club and Lymington Town Sailing Club are active and friendly places for visiting yachtsmen.
