The Berthon boat moving team were called upon for an unusual job on Friday 11th August
The organisers of the Lymington Seafood Festival realised that a delivery lorry was ‘skating’ all over the ‘plaice’ at the Bath Road Recreation Ground and had finally ‘floundered’. The boat movers rapidly deployed to the site following a call from the event director with their trusty tractor and soon having ‘cast the line the hook was set’. The lorry was ‘played’ and finally ‘landed’ back on to firmer ground and the festival was able to continue with their set-up.
