BLUE LEGEND is the largest Nelson on the planet. Built as a 60 footer and stretched in 2006 she is an extraordinary yacht that we know well. In order to earn the moniker of `Nelson’ a yacht has to come from the design board of TT Boat Designs.
The Nelson marque is famous for its sea keeping and rugged all weather capabilities. These iconic `blue boats’ can be seen in Northern waters not just as cruising yachts but used in a multitude of applications as pilot boats, police boats and the like. Around the world it is not unusual to see their distinctive lines as they herd commercial shipping like well-behaved sheepdogs – whatever the weather, at speed and without fuss.
BLUE LEGEND was built by Richardsons on the Isle of Wight, for an experienced Nelson owner who liked to cruise in the Mediterranean. As a result, she differs from many of her sisters as a light interior, air conditioning, excellent ventilation and really good entertaining and lounging spaces on deck. She is unmistakably Nelson but with a warm water feel.
During her transformation in 2006 which was undertaken in 2006, she grew to accommodate really good accommodation aft for her crew, with a big galley and a large hydraulic garage to house her tender and toys. Overseen by TT Boat Designs, all this was accomplished without losing her clean line and unmistakable Nelson good looks.
BLUE LEGEND has been skipper maintained from the beginning so she has always gleamed. Now in her second ownership the zero tolerance policy in terms of maintenance and upgrades has continued. She has recently had new entertainment systems, a review of her electronics systems and new head linings in the main saloon. Her engine room looks like an operating theatre!
BLUE LEGEND is now on the market and she continues to be one of our favourite yachts. For further information contact email@example.com.
