Berthon has been synonymous with yacht build and boat repairs since 1877, and we have a wealth of knowledge and experience.
With 100 skilled craftsmen and state of the art yard facilities in Lymington, Hampshire, Berthon has the ability to deal with all aspects of yacht maintenance, refits and boat repairs. We are also available for yacht construction or fit-out projects at the highest level.
At our recently refurbished Lymington boatyard facilities, the dedication to providing the best service is key to the yard. We operate an apprenticeship scheme, and many of our craftsmen have been with us throughout their working life.
You may recently have seen, perhaps in the Solent or on the Thames, the 1936 78ft Gentleman's Motor Yacht Bounty. Completely restored and transformed at Berthon, she was relaunched in April 2008 looking absolutely fabulous, ready for her next three-score years and twelve, and available for charter. Management
One of our team of experienced maintenance and yacht repair managers will advise you and organise all work to your requirements, for both motor and sailing yachts.
Large refits, fit-outs and boat construction are handled by a separate team of experienced marine project managers.
We also have a dedicated team of yacht cleaners to keep your pride and joy shipshape - inside and out, all year round.

Berthon has the most modern boat painting spray facility in Europe. Using mainly Awlgrip and International Paint, Berthon's climate-controlled spray booth allows a dust-free, perfect spray paint finish every time.
