The Bowman 40 needs no introduction; they are very much a bluewater classic. REMILLA is a bit of gem having undergone a pretty comprehensive pitstop in 2012. She reads well and sporting a pretty comprehensive offshore inventory she will certainly curry favour with those sailors looking for a thoroughbred cruiser.
REMILLA was originally built for a Dutchman, who kept her in a marina, used her lightly and had her professionally maintained. Most of the receipts for work carried out are available. She was bought in 2010 by a superyacht skipper who skillfully refurbished her, intending to take a sabbatical with his partner. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on one’s point of view, she unexpectedly became pregnant and they decided to sell the boat to the present owners in 2012.
The current owners completed the refurbishment, upgrading the electrics, electronics, sails, anchor and more, intending to sail her round the world. They sailed her from Poole, England to Greece, but for health reasons have decided not to continue and reluctantly offer REMILLA for sale.
