Pendragon was designed by Laurie Davidson, and eminent Americas Cup designer inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007. She is a 69ft racing yacht, unusually with a comfortable interior, clean lines and halyards and control lines led below decks for a clean and uncluttered look. She was initially designed for the West Coast of the USA, for distance and round the cans racing and excels in light breeze due to her narrow waterline and modest displacement. When things get a bit fruitier, her twin rudders help keep everything in control. Down below, she is very comfortable, and has a bright and airy interior, a far cry from the standard black carbon interiors seen on her peers. She is well equipped and is also used for day sailing by the current owner and his family. She is by no means an untamable beast.
