A positive Dusseldorf Boat Show 2014 (Boot2014) reconfirmed its position as the Number 1 Boat Show in the world – with around 250,000 visitors through the door this year. This 9 day show is held at the impressive Messe Dusseldorf Exhibition centre, next to the River Rhine in Germany. A vast exhibition which stretches across 17 halls which should be enough to satisfy any yachtsman’s dreams, with dedicated halls to cater to all aspects of sailing and watersports.
At Boot2014 Windy displayed 6 boats from their world beating range –
The Draco 27RS and the Windy 39 Camira are new models for the Company and made their debut at Boot2014.
Berthon was represented for the duration of the show by Ben Toogood, Windy Sales Manager for the UK and Bruno Kairet, Windy Sales Manager for France. Dusseldorf was a great start to 2014 for Berthon and Windy with a significant number of orders being taken at the Show across the full range of Windy and Draco boats, including 3 orders for the all new Windy 39 Camira.

Windy 29 Coho was also nominated for European Motorboat of the year, which has generated some great press and exposure for Windy, with Motor Boats Monthly saying that the Coho is “possibly the best sub 30’ driver’s boat in the world” – read about the seatrial of the boat in the February 2014 issue of Motor Boats Monthly.
The Dusseldorf boat show is a great opportunity for the Windy family to spend time together – with dealers from all over the world on the stand for the show, as well as Windy owners past, present and future. Windy take constant product improvement very seriously and this is a great chance for the whole family to chat about the models and to discuss updates and improvements that are always in train.
