A look at some events happening in the Solent this month.
Berthon Collection 2014
From Friday 12th – Sunday 21st September Berthon will be hosting the 20th Collection of brokerage yachts for sale; this annual event has become something of a tradition and runs at the same time as the Southampton Boat Show. We will be showing around 80 motor, sailing and performance yachts all ready for you to see, touch and write a cheque for. A copy of the Collection Catalogue can be found on our website after 1 September 2014 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Hard copies with a funky pearlescent cover are also available. Please also visit the Collection blog to see more details of the 2014 Berthon Collection fleet – The Berthon Collection Blog or come visit us at Berthon Lymington Marina – the original of the Solent Marinas
Solent Music Festival
If you are in Lymington for the first weekend of the Collection and need a rest from looking at yachts or time to think whilst you decide what to buy, why not attend one of the events at the Solent Music Festival. From Thursday 11th – Sunday 14th there will be a variety of programmes from organ to jazz. Go to www.solentmusicfestival.com for more information or stop by Solent Cellar (www.thesolentcellar.co.uk) on the High Street for tickets.
St Barbe Museum
For an artistic view of the area, visit the St Barbe Museum where along with the permanent exhibit about the history of the Lymington River and the Lymington area there is an exhibit of the Prints of the Grosvenor School in partnership with Osborne Samuel who also partnered with one of our writers for the latest Berthon Lifestyle Magazine.
