BUFFALO NICKEL has just completed the journey from Phuket, Thailand, to Circa Marine in Whangarei, New Zealand.
The passage took 47 days – with 623 hours underway, and 6,289 miles under her keel.
For more facts and figures on these reputable mile munchers read ‘FPB: Cruising Speed, Range under Power and the Real World’ at http://www.setsail.com/fpb-cruising-speed-range-under-power-and-the-real-world/.
Owners Valerie and Stan (amongst others) can be seen giving us a heads up about friends, FPBs and ocean crossing at http://www.setsail.com/why-fpb-3/.
‘So for him to see and experience “BN” plugging along at 10 knots, being pretty fuel efficient and able to gallivant all over, avoiding unpleasant conditions, really hit home.’
BUFFALO NICKEL has been equipped for 2-handed blue water cruising, and has voyaged with her owners far in safety with complete reliability. Her last trip to Circa was no different.
With a larger sister in the works, we have been asked to find a new owner for BUFFALO NICKEL before they take delivery of their new FPB 70.
The yacht is looking truly fab and she comes with a meticulous service, overhaul and upgrade history. She will be sold completely ready for more blue water in comfort, safety and in style.
