FPB 64 GREY WOLF is off on her travels again….Owner Peter Watson is enjoying her tremendously whilst big GREY WOLF is being born at Circa New Zealand. Big GREY WOLF is an FPB 78 and is #2 of this astonishing series. You will be able to see her at an ocean near you in 2016.
After the Long Voyage home from New Zealand to the Channel Islands, 2015 is a sedate year for the current 64’ GREY WOLF, she recently left her home port in Guernsey for Scotland via the Irish Sea, Isle of Man has just left for Svalbard half way between Northern Norway and the North Pole. The largest island is more known to us as Spitzbergen and its archipelago ranges from 74° to 81° north latitude.
The voyage promises to be more sedate than the transpacific and transatlantic trips last year, and she is the perfect platform from which to see the incredible scenery in these island cruising grounds. With the Great Room she will have panoramic views whatever the weather throws at her. Of course, her range is massive so there will be no need to worry about fuel stops for a trip of this length.
She will again be home to a number of Berthon apprentices during the voyage where they will be able to experience ship board life at first hand.
