Solaris Yachts started building yachts in 1974 and has a great history of constructing and refitting custom yachts.
Today Solaris build a world class range of performance cruising yachts, from 37 feet to 60 feet, all of which are designed by Javier Soto Acebal. In addition to their high quality class yachts, they also have an active custom division.
Berthon have long been involved in the sale of high quality offshore and bluewater cruising yachts. This market is not solely made up of the heavier displacement – there is a clear desire in the market for a high quality beautifully finished performance cruisers, and this is the segment we see Solaris filling.
The attention to detail throughout their range of yachts is evident from the custom skin fittings, full bonded 40mm bulkheads, to the faultless joinery – not to mention the jaw dropping good looks.
With their sparkling sailing, and light, airy interiors, they offer fun and exhilarating family yachting with easy, comfortable living too. They can achieve fast passage times without the need for large crews and are the prettiest yachts in any anchorage.

With only a limited number of these beautiful creatures currently in captivity in the UK, we thought we would take the opportunity to show off the Solaris 47, EMMA KETURAH looking very much at home and revelling in some fine sailing conditions on the West Solent. With her dark blue topsides and flush teak decks, she cuts quite dash from stem to stern; there is thought in every detail. With her Southern Spars boom and self-tacking rig, the owner regularly enjoys single-handing her.
EMMA KETURAH will be on display during the Southampton Boat Show, so please do take to the opportunity to come along and view.
Berthon are the UK agents for Solaris and will be exhibiting on Stand M353 Southampton Boat Show 14th – 23rd September.
