Marina Manager
Summary
This is an amazing opportunity for a customer service focused Marina Manager to join a 5 Gold Anchor vibrant marina in the beautiful location of Lymington.
Role
The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for the Marina and the day-to-day activities in the dock office to ensure the smooth running of the dockmaster team.

Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day running of the marina and will strive to deliver a first-class experience for all customers ensuring customer service levels are consistently exceeding expectation.
You will lead, develop and coach your team in order to achieve commercial targets and customer satisfaction scores. Candidates must be computer literate, quick thinking and skilled in administration. Passionate about world class service, you must take pride in your surroundings. Ensuring the operation is safe, clean and compliant at all times.
You will drive the financial performance of the business and be integral to the pricing policy. In conjunction with the site management teams, you will ensure that all daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out, along with all routine maintenance. It is imperative that legal, HSE and company policies including financial policies are being adhered to by your team and users of the marina including employees and customers.
Liaise with all senior managers in the group to ensure operations run smoothly and customers are satisfied and understand the “one-stop-shop” business model.
Job holder attributes, Skills and Experience
Essential
Excellent customer relationship skills to deal with customers from many different countries and cultures.
Multi-tasker with the ability to run a busy office and prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Personnel management to listen, understand, coach and support a range of personalities.
Able to determine improvements to processes and systems, and implement changes
Ability to operate company ERP system and other technology (CCTV and Wifi)
Competent user of Microsoft Office packages
Strong communication skills to manage staff, rotas and emergency situations
Proven track record in the leisure marine industry with minimum 5 years’ experience in similar role
Desirable
Appropriate Marina management courses IMM, AMM, CMM, Powerboat level 2, and VHF, First Aid & Oil Spill certification,
Basic sales and marketing skills
Financial awareness and analysis
Understanding of utility supplies, (electricity, water and gas); sewage and drainage.
