ICEBERG is an astonishing motor yacht designed by Dashew Offshore for serious passage making. She is part of their FPB (Functional Power Boat Series). She is the largest yacht that Steve and Linda Dashew considered could be handled effectively by a family crew. This, she has proved herself to be. Built beautifully by Circa Marine in New Zealand – in this ownership she has cruised far. During this ownership, she has been beautifully maintained and much updated. This work includes a repower of the main John Deere prime movers, which has further increased her capability. As her owners don’t have unlimited time to use ICEBERG she is run with a crew of 2 who have comfortable quarters, and who are on hand to maintain and position the yacht when the owners are not aboard.
ICEBERG has the FPB trademark matrix deck, which is described elsewhere as the fly bridge. This is a marvellous covered upper helm position with a lovely teak laid deck and trim, together with a lovely entertaining area. The main saloon is a true FPB ‘Great Room’ with 360 degree vision and is a light and airy place for watch keeping, entertaining, cooking, relaxing and living within the marine environment.
