The Iguana 31 Exclusive is proven in over 4 continents and is making serious tracks in the superyacht industry, including recently with an Iguana sold to M/Y “Spectre” (70m Benetti).
Once the legs are deployed the ground clearance is over 4ft, which means that you can provide an experience onto some of the most idyllic beaches in the world without risking the safety of guests and crew. Operation of the Iguana’s could not be simpler. It requires holding the down arrow to deploy the landing gear and then using the two joy sticks to either move the tracks forward or back. Once you are on the land you have 180 minutes of running full chat (7kmh) and have a maximum 22o incline to play with, remember If you can walk on it so can the Iguana.
With all this exciting technology it is easy to overlook how brilliant a sea boat the Iguana really is! This solid carbon fibre planning hull has a true deep V of nearly a metre and weighs just 3000kg. The landing gear sits above the waterline producing minimal drag and impressively acts as ballast, resulting in a remarkable top speed of 40 knots and very comfortable ride for up to 12 guests.
This particular Iguana Exclusive was well specified in 2016 with the power coming from a Mercury Verado 300. The current owner has moved from a waterfront property in Sydney hence the reason for the sale. She is presenting in new condition, with only 40 hours clocked, making this an extremely good alternative to buying new.
