As soon as you step aboard ZAYBO you can see that she has always been professionally maintained and crewed. Having been with the same owner since build, she is the 3rd of four Oysters he has owned. Now it is time for ZAYBO to find new ownership. The interior is in good condition with the cherry woodwork also, as new. The light maple soleboards throughout add to the bright, spacious feel below, particularly in the large saloon that Oyster’s are so well known for. ZAYBO is mechanically sound and ready to go, on to the next adventure!
The boat was delivered new from Ipswich to the Hamble, where I had two seasons sailing the UK and French coasts. In the summer of 2013, I sailed from the UK to Majorca, slowly. Participating in the 2013 Oyster Palma regatta at the end of September and winning our class, she then wintered ashore in Port Adriano, Majorca. Summer 2014 was a slow sail to Turkey via Balearics, Sardinia & Corsica, Malta, Greece and Turkey, wintering in Gocek, Turkey. The 3 next years I sailed the waters of Greece, Turkey, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania and Italy when she has been largely day sailed with my family and guests and then wintered ashore every year. The engineering, commissioning and decommissioning has been handled by the same engineering team throughout her entire life and they know the yacht intimately. Another Oyster Palma regatta in 2018 proved her competitiveness in the Oyster fleet, but now with heavy heart I must sell her to move on to my next venture. Never chartered, she is in the best condition and will make the next owner as proud as I have been to own her.
