From 2016, this is a particularly well spec’d example of the Solaris having been built and commissioned for an experienced owner. The Solaris 37 is a beautifully built performance cruiser/racer designed by Javier Soto Acebal. She may be the smallest yacht in the Solaris yachts range but she displays all the quality of construction and finish of her bigger sisters. A particular feature of Solaris yachts is the construction, the primary bulkheads are of 40mm composite these are fully laminated in the both the hull and deck, the hull deck joint is fully laminated this interconnection creates a proper monolithic structure with all of the components in fibre glass therefore with on one mechanical characteristic the end result being a very stiff yacht. FESTA enjoys a host of upgrades; Hall Spars carbon mast and boom, symmetric spinnaker pole and set up, carbon bowsprit, NKE instrumentation (cockpit and mast mounted) and a healthy sail wardrobe for both cruising and racing (some of which have seen only very limited use).
The state-of-the-art NKE electronics include: large format displays at the bottom of the mast, electric pilot, 2 compass gyros with real wind option, 3 TL25 repeaters including one inside, AIS, VHF ICOM, ADRENA fixed computer software, pre-wired for laptop, Iridium, SARSAT tag. FESTA has been cleverly optimized for competitive shorthanded sailing but yet still delivers on creature comforts with the renowned Solaris finish below decks in bleached oak She sports two spacious double cabins (the owner’s cabin with its centre line berth would challenge larger yachts) and a well-appointed WC and shower compartment. With her dark grey topsides black rig and matching canvas work, she is a very good looking yacht with a specification to match. The yacht is ideally positioned on the west coast of France (South Brittany) so within easy reach of the Mediterranean or Northern Europe.
