The 35 Mistral in Hardtop form is a superb all-weather cruising powerboat. She shares a similar layout to her bigger sister, with a comfortable u-shaped aft cockpit, refrigerator and folding cockpit table. Forward at the helm console is a single helm bucket seat, with access between the navigator’s bench to the left – so there are three forward-facing seats, with plenty of handholds and a proper chart table on the dashboard.
Below decks, her cabins are fully fitted out in the highest quality materials to create a cosy, classy feel. The forward cabin has a full double berth, and she has a fully-fitted galley with diesel-fired hob, microwave, refrigerator and sink. There is plenty of storage here.
The heads/shower compartment is fitted with holding tank and gauges, and the aft cabin with double berth has a sliding privacy curtain door off the main saloon.
She will cruise in great comfort in the mid-twenties and top out in the mid-thirties, with reliable performance from her twin KAD44 Volvos.
“SAMPHIRE…” has been evidently well-maintained, and is in third ownership from new. She runs well, has a lovely feel and is very nicely presented, with many additions over the years, and a mechanical overhaul in 2017/18 to keep her in fine fettle.
