The Windy 37 Grand Mistral Hardtop broke the mould for all-weather, high-speed passage-making. Hugely successful over a 13 year build program, the 37 is perhaps the ideal family cruiser; with versatile accommodation, top-drawer build quality and fantastic manners through the water.
“ARTEMIS” has the popular optional hardtop with powered sun-roof, smart charcoal upholstery, joystick docking and a stunning high gloss joinery finish.
This is an exceptionally nicely presented and maintained Grand Mistral Hardtop, still in her first ownership and in super condition.
“ARTEMIS has been a terrific addition to our life. Aside from being a wonderful sea boat she has been used by us in numerous guises and sailed 8,500 nautical miles. The spacious arrangement makes for comfortable trips overnight, week-ends or much longer, whether it’s in a marina or at anchor. To sit above in the cockpit until the dew starts and then retire to the saloon has been a particular pleasure. Maintaining her appearance has been easy – a credit to Windy’s standards of build. As a long distance cruiser, we’ve made extensive trips to Brittany, Normandy, Channel Islands, Belgium and Holland. In the UK Artemis has visited many of the desirable spots from the Helford River right around the south to Aldeburgh on the east coast.
One moment she’s a water-born platform for the grandchildren and BBQs afloat; the next a social day cruiser with 10 up; or running 2 up to join friends on week-end rallies. A particular memory was a day with 8 friends, departing on a round trip from Lymington at 7.30 am, spending 4 hours in Cherbourg, before being tied up back in Lymington at 7.30 pm. A magical day which amply depicts the cruising capability of this marvellous boat.
ARTEMIS will be much missed but the demands of 7 grandchildren means the need for a different type of boat.”
