We are creating a new management position to lead and expand our yacht rigging services, managing our busy boat lifting and launching, and dredging operations. Administrative support is provided by our office team, allowing this role to focus primarily on customer interaction, technical oversight, operational management, and leadership of the teams involved.
Working within the existing management team, the role will include providing technical direction and decision-making, following up enquiries from customers, liaising with manufacturers regarding specifications, viewing boats to draw up technical specification, costing labour and materials, quoting customers, following up to obtain signed orders & deposit payments, and scheduling work. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong marine technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate and direct operational teams.
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our service team, with a particular focus on supporting our brokerage department and owners of blue water cruising yachts.
This role involves managing maintenance, refit, and upgrade projects from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring a high level of organisation, and customer communication throughout the process. The successful candidate will work closely with our brokerage team, yacht owners and skippers, helping prepare yachts for sale, supporting new owners following purchase.
This position would suit someone with marine project management experience, excellent organisational skills, and a solid understanding of yacht systems and maintenance requirements.
Sailing experience, particularly with blue water cruising yachts, would be highly beneficial.
Berthon Lymington Marina prides itself on maintaining some of the finest washroom facilities in the Solent. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to help keep our marina facilities spotless and welcoming for customers, visitors, and staff.
The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining our washroom facilities and communal areas to the highest standards, ensuring they remain clean, hygienic, and well-presented.
