Berthon fully understands the demands placed on government and commercially operated boats, as well as boats operated in the private sector, and has an experienced team of marine project managers and engineers that oversee all aspects of boatbuilding, marine engineering work, boat repair, and refit, as well as marine product support.
We employ over 100 skilled craftsmen including marine engineers, electricians, riggers, painters, joiners, shipwrights and apprentices, who work at our modern boatyard facilities in Lymington, Hampshire. We are one of the few boatyards in the UK able to deliver to our clients an end-to-end service.

Skilled staff
The skills and knowledge that Berthon staff possess are unrivalled. Starting at the company as an apprentice and working through the ranks over 40 years is not uncommon.
Professional service
Berthon’s project management offices overlook the main floor of M-Shed. Managers are linked to the refit projects at all times, and workers have direct access to managers for decision-making.
