To supplement our team of highly skilled Marine Engineers and their apprentices on refit projects in our modern purpose built facilities and to service the needs of our marina client base working on a range of sailing and motor yachts as well as maintaining our own company vessels.

The following attributes are essential for this role:

  • Recognised marine engineering apprenticeship
  • Experienced on a range of marine diesel engines, ancillary equipment and propulsion systems
  • Ability to recognise and diagnose system faults
  • Strong mechanical fitting skills
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Reliable
  • Motivated
  • Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards
  • Proven Marine industry track record

The following attributes are desirable for this role:

  • Good working knowledge of Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Cummins Marine diesel engines
  • Fabricating in S/S and Aluminium
  • Good working knowledge of hydraulic systems
  • Good working knowledge of electronic engines
