Berthon has an immediate position available for an experienced Rigging Team Leader to join our highly skilled workforce working on a wide variety of vessels on our marina and in our modern facilities.
The following attributes are essential for this role:
- Excellent working knowledge of running and standing rigging
- Rig Tuning
- Swaging
- Splicing and ropework
- Mast stepping and un-stepping using a variety of lifting tackle and cranes
- A good head for heights
- Sailing experience
- Boat handling experience
- Ability to work unsupervised to exacting standards
- Be motivated
- Reliable
- Have a good eye for detail to produce top quality work
- Ability to embrace and communicate a strong safety culture
- Proven industry track record.
- A good communicator able to work in a small close knit team.
The following attributes are desirable but not essential for this role:
- Fabricating in S/S and aluminium
- Knowledge of hydraulics
