We are looking for a service manager to support our marina and brokerage customers with their boat maintenance and repairs.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Following up enquiries from customers
- Pursuing opportunities
- Liaising with manufacturers regarding specifications
- Viewing boats to draw up technical specification
- Costing labour and materials
- Preparing estimates
- Following up customers after estimating
- Obtaining signed orders & deposit payments
- Scheduling work
- Prepare project plans at both high and detailed level
- Managing labour
- Managing materials
- Managing sub-contractors
- Checking timesheets
- Monitor and control progress against plan to ensure timely completion
- Record and act upon quality issues and prepare rework plans
- Monitor and control costs to ensure profitability
- Maintain accurate up to date records
- Setting to work
- Sea trials
- Familiarisation of new equipment with operator
- Invoicing & the collection of payment
- Continued service of the customer
- Further duties as may be required for the effective and efficient running of the company
